Delighted to come home from work and find some stunning photos of the #aurora filling my timeline.
I stopped off on my way home to take a few. They’re not stunning, but I do like them. These three photos are all three second exposures taken in #MowCop on my #iPhone15.
On the way home this afternoon, The Boy said from the back of the car “Look grandma! A castle!”
So we diverted to the top of #MowCop and I explained it was a #folly not a #castle and he just kept shouting “I’m in the castle! I’m in the castle!” and now he thinks he’s a princess.
It’s a hard walk up there when you’re two, though.

I’m lying in bed listening to it and feeling grateful to have this roof over my head, whilst conscious that many are not so fortunate.
#Day196 of #365HappyDays : #today I’m happy with my little new car. I’ve had it for two months and although I purposely bought an AWD vehicle for these conditions, I didn’t know how it would actually perform when it needed to.
It dealt well with the #UKsnow and got me easily up the series of proper hills that lead to my house.

It’s after 11pm and the #NightSky looks like this from my bedroom window. There’s #NoFilter on this, other than a foreground crop it’s straight out of my phone. (That’s #Venus, in case you were wondering.)
It’s after 11pm and it’s 23° outside, and 27° in my room, despite having the windows and curtains closed all day. It’s going to be a long #night, but at least I have a beautiful #sky to keep me company.
One of my friends sent me this yesterday evening, so I can’t take the credit. This was the weather taken from and heading towards #MowCop yesterday, moving in across the #Cheshire plain. You can see the rain, but it’s those #clouds that really took my breath away. He sent me the photo and wished me luck!
One thing about this cold #weather is that it’s given me another beautiful #sky tonight. Again, unedited save for a crop - this is the view from my room, straight from my phone.
