I just finished a very detailed section of the Extraordinary Birds SAL by Lola Crow Cross Stitch — the peacock, complete with lots of intricate backstitching. I.

A green Christmas tree is appliquéd onto red fabric. It is decorated with decorative stitches, a candle and the numbers 1 to 24. A moon and a star shine to the left and right of the top of the tree. At the foot of the tree are two angels, the angel on the left pushing a doll's pram, the angel on the right holding a doll aloft. Next to the numbers are small brass rings to which small gifts can be attached. Half of the rings are already empty.
