After several beta versions, Thomas 'Thor' Richter released the first stable version of his universal PCI driver system "OpenPCI" at the end of March, which supports all known PCI solutions for the Amiga without recourse to the software of the respective manufacturer. The now released version 40.3 fixes a bug in the PCI preferences which caused the device list not to be searched correctly for suitable devices and thus could cause a crash.
This is known as a "harvest now, decrypt later" threat—and it’s real.

Not shure if they too do #MAC / #PCI-ID allowlisting of #NIC|s like #ThinkPad|s do for "certification compliance" and oftentimes they have no convenient way to even shove one of those M.2 Ethernet Adaptors in.
Personally, I think it's sad that 10" lost out to 19" in terms of form factor, even tho @jwildeboer and espechally @geerlingguy do push for a resurgence of the form factor...

RE: my #PCI posts...I am a fully recovered (I think at least) ex-QSA. But crazy things have come back to me recently. Like the time I had a debate with a much more "experienced" QSA who believed that CVV2 was encoded on the mag stripe of a credit card.
I remember when a large retailer decided to ban the use of RDP company-wide because their QSA told them it was insecure. #PCI

Делюсь, через что мне пришлось пройти, и что из этого вышло. Эта часть посвящена разбору интеграции Rust в QEMU.
