Sanya Malhotra reveals why her mom’s fashion designer dream remained unfulfilled

Mumbai, Feb 10 (SocialNews.XYZ) In a recent emotional post, actress Sanya Malhotra opened up about her mother’s unfulfilled dream of becoming a fashion designer.

Sanya revealed that due to financial constraints and life's challenges, her mother was unable to pursue her passion for fashion. Despite this, she found a way to live her dream through her children, especially by designing outfits for important family occasions. Taking to her Instagram handle, the Dangal actress posted a heartfelt video featuring her mother.

In the video, Sanya goes on to express admiration for her mother's resilience, revealing how she fought cancer and emerged stronger each time.

For the caption, the 'Jawan' actress wrote, “Prime number of my life Mom had a dream since childhood to become a fashion designer, but whether it is financial constraints or life's compulsions, she could not fulfill her dream. But after marriage, I fulfilled my dream through their children. Whether it is a wedding, birthday or any special day at home, it is completed only when we wear clothes made by our mother.”

Sanya added, “My mom has faced so much in her life, fought cancer, and came out stronger every time. She is not just an ordinary woman, but a solid prime number—unique and unshakable. And my film Mrs. celebrates Mrs like Mom. So do watch this film along with your prime number, and don't forget to show the prime numbers of your life. This is a chance to celebrate their strength, their love and their spirit. Outfits in the by @renumalhotra #MrsOnZEE5 #Primenumber.”

Meanwhile, Sanya recently featured in Arati Kadav’s directorial, "Mrs," which is the official remake of "The Great Indian Kitchen," a Malayalam film that delves into a woman's struggle to balance marriage and her personal aspirations. The movie streamed on ZEE5 on February 7.

Next, Sanya will star in the highly anticipated film “Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari.”

Since people seen to love celebrating social media statistics and milestones, I figure, when in -Rome- err, Fediverse, celebrate in the unconventionally Fedivers-ian style with a hooray for 97 followers, the largest two digit (decimal) prime number! 🥳🎉

That feels like a much more worthy milestone that the more conventional 100. 😉

When technology meets mathematics: The A100 GPU powers the discovery of the latest giant in the prime number world! 🚀💻✨🔍💡🧮💥🎉

The "new" largest prime was discovered today (October 21, 2024)! It's a Mersenne prime \( (2^p-1 )\), which is easier to find because it can utilize a specialized "faster" primality test (known as LLT, i.e., Lucas-Lehmer test). On October 11, an NVIDIA A100 GPU in Dublin, Ireland, reported that M136279841 is probably prime. On October 12, an NVIDIA H100 in San Antonio, Texas, USA, confirmed primality with a Lucas-Lehmer test.

\[\Huge 2^{136,279,841}-1\]

It took nearly 6 years for the Great Internet Mersenne Prime Search (GIMPS )software to find it after the previous largest known prime. It was also the first Mersenne prime found using GPUs.

Screenshot of the front page of the Great Internet Mersenne Prime Search (GIMPS) reading:

"New Mersenne Prime discovered (probably)!

October 13, 2024 — Yesterday, a participating GIMPS computer reported a successful Fermat probable prime test to the server! A proof of work was uploaded and certified. This certification proves there were no calculation errors during the probable prime test. Several Lucas-Lehmer tests are underway to definitively prove the number prime. These tests will be run using several different programs and on different hardware. Soon after the result is officially confirmed an announcement will be made with all the details. Assuming the result holds, this new prime will be GIMPS first new prime in nearly six years."

How to trick mtg players into unsolved problems in number theory:

It's Alice's turn. She has some way of making an arbitrary number of noncreature and tokens during her main phase. Her opponent, Bob, can gain an arbitrary amount of life, though this combo can be stopped by some sorcery speed removal, so he has one shot of gaining as much life as he chooses.

The largest #PrimeNumber (so far) was discovered five years ago today!

It’s a #MersennePrime discovered by a computer used by Patrick Laroche, an IT professional from Florida, who used the #prime-finding software Prime95 to stress-test his builds. It’s part of something called #GIMPS (Great Internet Mersenne Prime Search) that anyone can participate in and maybe discover the next largest Mersenne prime!

Excerpt from the linked article, reading:

“GIMPS Discovers Largest Known Prime Number: 2 [raised to the power of] 82,589,933-1

BLOWING ROCK, NC, December 21, 2018 -- The Great Internet Mersenne Prime Search (GIMPS) has discovered the largest known prime number, 2 [raised to the power of] 82,589,933-1, having 24,862,048 digits. A computer volunteered by Patrick Laroche made the find on December 7, 2018. Patrick is one of thousands of volunteers using free GIMPS software available at www.mersenne.org/download/.

The new prime number, also known as M82589933, is calculated by multiplying together 82,589,933 twos, and then subtracting one. It is more than one and a half million digits larger than the previous record prime number, in a special class of extremely rare prime numbers known as Mersenne primes. It is only the 51st known Mersenne prime ever discovered, each increasingly more difficult to find. Mersenne primes were named for the French monk Marin Mersenne, who studied these numbers more than 350 years ago. GIMPS, founded in 1996, has discovered the last 17 Mersenne primes. Volunteers download a free program to search for these primes, with a cash award offered to anyone lucky enough to find a new prime. Prof. Chris Caldwell maintains an authoritative web site on the largest known primes, and has an excellent history of Mersenne primes.”

Everyone waiting for @bagder to reach 100 operating systems but actually the only important aspect is that it’s not a prime number for the list to fit nicely into a rectangle. 😉

99 did a very good job of 9×11 OSes. 100=10×10 will probably do just fine.

But dare you anyone submitting the 101st OS (prime number)! ☝️

Day 17, Prime Number

Day 17, photographed on day 17. Slow uploading because I had no idea what a prime number was, and when I looked it up I was none the wiser, but needed to lie down in a dark room to recover. The only thing I remember is that 11 is the controversial one, with much debate over whether it is a prime number or a composite. And I do like the rebels of any galaxy. But just in case I also present 2, 3, 5, 7 and 11

#PrimeNumber #Mathstodon #Number #clock #photography

This is the face, or dial, of a Grandfather clock. It is not so old, but is made to look old.
The whole clock is a long case, made of wood, about my height, and the front of that case is glazed so that you can see the pendulum swaying back and forth inside of it.
Here we only show the dial, which is a square with the circle of the clock face inside so that the rim touches the middle of each side. This leaves a space in each corner which is filled in with a decorative swirly pattern, which is repeated in the very middle of the circle, where there are the hands and the winding holes below. Between the border and this decorative circle is a white roundel in which are the clock times in those odd numbers involving entirely the letter I and the letter X. The hands of the clock are set to eleven o`Clock.
Above the top border of the square is an arch shape with another circle inside it, or rather it is a circle with two decorative sides forming it into an arch, That circle is solid gold (or solid gold paint anyway) and it is a kind of globe design but showing continents I do not know. Across the globe in a banner curving from bottom left to middle right it says Tempus Fugit - which is Latin for Time Flies, rather gloomily.
