#ProjectBanana

@kde@floss.social I've been using it for most of the year in various #KVM #QEMU VMs. The earliest ones were ofc very rough [some wouldn't run, some ran but wouldn't update], but the one i installed on 27/7/25 is going gangbusters! I reckon it's a marvellous project... & is going to be far better than Neon [which i always greatly disliked, as i dislike ubuntu].

Nice roundup! As someone who likes to try something new now and then, but doesn't care enough to stay on top of all the #distro changes, this really helped! I'm eager to try #KDE #Linux / #ProjectBanana when it's at least as stable as #Neon. I've always disliked #Fedora, but I haven't tried it in years so hey, maybe this year is the year I give it a go again. It was also interesting to hear an opinion so different on #NixOS to the #JupiterBroadcasting folx.
