I opened an issue on Codeberg (codeberg.org/Spoljarevic/Ansib) where I talk about a complete rework of my Arch Linux post-install ansible playbook.

Many things will be added and existing things will be optimized.
I'm very unhappy with it's current way of dealing with things.

Doing it because I'm removing RHEL from my NB and switch back to Arch Linux.

RHEL is still installed as my second OS on my PC, so testing and development can continue there.

Of course I could configure the things manually, but where's the fun in that?

I'm planning on doing this in march (since my project for this month is to update my Wikis) and also end the project within the same month.

Feel free to look at the issue from time to time to see my current progress and the time spent.

If I remember correctly, the playbook at it's current version took around 10 hours... Let's see how many I can add on top of that!

@Numerfolt come over to #EndeavourOS. You will not regret it. You get all the benefits of #Arch and a rolling distro with all of the rough edges of #arch gone.

I realize that I might have misused the "semantic versioning" with the last release of Back In Time.
Compared to 1.5.6, there are so many breaking changes in 1.6.0, that it better should have been 2.0.0.

What do you think?

I've been using Ubuntu with KDE Neon sources since august 2024 and now I'm getting bored...

I think about moving to EndeavourOS or CachyOS, my last experience with Arch was Garuda.
BTRFS broke my system 2-3 times but now that I'm using ZFS, Arch should probably be fine?

I basically want the new KDE and be able to try new mesa versions without breaking my packages

@UncleSpellbinder
I hope #Arch manages to keep the 6.12 #LTS kernel branch along with 6.18 #LTS branch in the main repo and not push it out into AUR. Maybe the 6.12 #LTS kernel branch is shifted to the extra repo of Arch while 6.18 #LTS kernel branch is kept in the main repo branch.

🕶️ A view of the user interface with music in progress. On the 1st half of the screen, numerous control buttons and 18 oscilloscopes corresponding to the signal emitted by each channel, on the 2nd half of the screen 8 tracks are displayed (out of 18), 6 of which display scrolling control sequences (a scroll bar at the bottom of the screen gives access to the other tracks).

📚️ Fasttracker II clone is a libre and multi-platform clone of the eponymous tracker (version 2 published in 1994, originally in Pascal, by the demogroup Triton), a popular musical sequencer (at the origin of the XM file format) on the demo scene, originally developed for PC-compatible (equipped with Sound Blaster and Gravis Ultrasound sound cards). The goal is to reproduce its operation while adding features and corrections. It also plays standard 4-channel MOD files, and extended files with 6 or 8 channels.

📚️ Mindustry is a single-player / multi-player, libre and multi-platform game, mixing tower defense and sandbox factory building, reminiscent of Factorio. Player(s) build elaborate supply chains equipped with conveyor belts to supply their turrets with ammunition, produce materials to be used for building, and protect their structures from waves of enemies. It offers a technology tree, campaigns, a map editor, and large scale, multi-platform, multi-player battles.
