There are at least 28 settings of the chanson "De tous biens plaine" this version printed by Petrucci 1502. Josquin's version, just treble & bass, adds a tenor part in a canon at the fifth one note delayed from the bass entrance.

#Stanesby and his father, along with Peter #Bressan, were the finest makers of #recorders and #flutes in England at this period. This alto recorder in F' is stamped "STANESBY/IUNIOR/F," and has a flutelike foot joint, perhaps in response to the growing popularity of the transverse flute by the 1720s.

#Recorders layer 1 are done, now to #woodwinds layer 2. It all turned out bulkier than I imagined, but for the first try with only materials on hand, it is OK. The second try is going to be better, with lessons learned from the prototype.
Also, I will have more time for the second round, because I have a working recorder trunk now.
