#RiscOS

This is #RiscOS night for sure!

2 more icons, not original work.

For Tahi, a somewhat chatty card game, a picture of Yugi from Yu-Gi-Oh.

For Angband, He Man's Sword of Power, from the ancient comic book.

Both trimmed down to 32x32.

IIRC I got both images from wikipedia.

RISC OS screenshot. The important open windows are blown up (5 to 1) images of icons. One is Yugi an anime boy with Very Anime hair, the other is He Man's Sword a blueish metal sword surrounded by flames.

Speaking of RISC OS games, it bugs me that "Microdrive" is a golf game and not something about Sinclair's tape storage... 🙁

I started a game of the updated RISC OS version, it looks pretty good.

2018 update for current RISC OS machines:

Edit: I should note, RISC OS Exodus has screen mode pickiness and doesn't like anymode. The version from the JASPP site just crashes on my Pi2. The version they have via !packman works fine for me. 🤗

OK I have struggled with GNOME like elements in file chooser dialogues in XFCE for some time now and am considering a non-GTK desktop.

In XFCE, MATE and LXDE I can configure the title bar buttons in windows such that the close button is on the left and the minimise/maximise are on the right. See the attached image.

This is similar to the RISC OS layout and stops me accidentally closing windows.

Is this layout possible with the KDE/LXQt/Trinity desktops?

A section of the XFCE button layout chooser. This shows my RISC OS based layout with the close button and the shade button on the left (with the window menu in between) and the minimise/maximise buttons on the right. This layout means that I never accidently close a window whilst trying to minimise or maximise it. That is why I use this layout. I can also do this with the MATE and LXDE desktops.

Finished to test the preliminary version of my new Desktop Theme Manager for #RISC_OS check out some screenshots here. I combines all old Theme managers into a single one fully rewritten in C:
