12,10 EUR Pro Rolle #PETG von #Sunlu, das ist schon echt ein Kampfpreis! Ich hab mir mal so ein Bundle bestellt, mal schauen, ob das #Filament was taugt.
I'm going to give water washable resin a whirl today. It would be great if it worked well, it'll be a lot cleaner!

The other day I noticed that #Sunlu PETG filament is cheaper than other brands... around $13 / kg instead of the usual $23 / kg
:boost:
Took a delivery of resin today, 4kg to get through a few more models, got another tank for my Solar I want to print
Wanted the 3KG bottles but they were out of stock, so ended up with 2 2KG of @sunlu_official ABS like in Dark Grey

For the record, #SUNLU got basically no customer support in europe.
Also their power adapters are trash.
Got a lot of advice about resin, so decided to follow the most common advice and got some of this @sunlu_official ABS like resin, the results look amazing from others models, so let’s see if I can replicate that!

Wow. 2 months and 7 days of irregular use and my #Sunlu S1 Plus filament dryer already decided to suddenly die. #3DPrinting
Well, I need to print those TPU parts… this will get hellishly stringy.

Filament dryers really work well. I got a #SUNLU dryer and ran one roll through it and it's printing so much better!
Thank you @cults3d for choosing my design as one of the best

Der #SUNLU S4 Filamenttrockner ist 48x auf Kickstarter überzeichnet 😬😆
Ich hoffe das wird nicht gleich zu Anfang Lieferschwierigkeiten geben.
Finally seems to be working. Once I fix the description I'll post a new #esp32 #speaker box on #printables.
Anyone have a use for freaking 4 whole spools of out-of-spec black #pla from #Sunlu?
Another morning, another clogged PTFE teardown.
This #sunlu filament is cursed. Fat spots that the #Prusa pushes almost but not quite hard enough to feed without breaking.
So it breaks off right at the PTFE entry, stuck firmly enough that I need to remove the heatbreak and tube before I can get it out..
This morning's wizarding is a new case for my #esphome speakers. Specifically, I love https://www.printables.com/model/363300-esphome-speaker but it doesn't fit the ESP32 boards I settled on ( https://amzn.to/3JA0lpA )
If #esphome supported #i2s on #esp8266 this wouldn't be an issue. I have plenty of esp8266 boards that are roughly the right size. Alas, filing a bug would involve another fight with #stalebot.
Instead of climbing the #barriertoentry, I fired up #Fusion360 (thanks https://usebottles.com/app/#fusion360 !) and whipped up a quick alternate box bottom.
Unfortunately, some terrible no good very bad filament from #Sunlu has managed to completely jam my extruder right below the gear, so I can't print it yet.
I am so tired of rebuilding this stupid #Prusa. The hot-end was decent before the #mmu2 disaster, but that conversion and subsequent fix-after-fix has made it sketchy at best. At least I'm getting good at teardowns. (And I'm saving for the top MK4 upgrade to get rid of the PTFE entirely.)
Most spammers spam at arm's length, using throwaway email accounts.
Not, apparently, #Sunlu.
The showed up at Maker Forums with a "sunlu.com" email address and necro'ed a 7-year-old post to attach an SEO spam comment to it.
As it happens, the first #3DPrinting filament I ever bought was Sunlu. I can point to stuff I still use that was printed with their PLAPro. They certainly threw away some brand equity here.
I don't like companies that I see defacing the commons.
