Привет, Хабр! Сегодня я поделюсь опытом работы с протоколом UDP вместе с микроконтроллером ESP8266 , где я управлял светодиодом, а также получал температуру с датчика DHT11 . Всё управление будет происходить из Android-приложения, написание логики которого также будет рассмотрено.
Been working for some weeks (read: months) on an universal-ish controller for an #esp8266
(And yes, I am actually aware of #Tasmota and #ESPHome . But hey, where's the fun in that?)
What started out as a controller for an analog dial to learn how to work with ESP's, completely side-tracked in this project.
Ah well. Now at least I have something for myself I can easily expand on and refreshed my #C, #HTML, and #CSS skills in the meantime and learned a *lot* on small, not very well documented ESP-quirks.
Maybe I should also start on the hardware and controlling a stepper in the near future, so maybe I'll also finish the original project..

Good thing, matrix has 60 columns so I can make some test.
And I like it :)
Definitely needs a 61 columns to get a symmetry.
For the last months I spent my free time renovating a 100+ years old house.
But with today's heat that's not an option, so I'm back working on clocks :)
