@gbhnews @SFPublicPress This is quite possibly the most least covered and deepest-felt-shame that any American probably, if they had any shame left in them, could feel. Sweep through, find all the people right at the bottom, and throw everything they have away.

They did it recently here in #SWMI, and I think about this so so much. Proof that we have no shame left in us at all. Totally shameless.

@futurebird On my after-work walk I went with my partner. The first thing we talked about was the shocking lack of insects outside. #SWMI, a perfect little bug paradise, should be at least. No gnats. No mosquitoes. Nothing. No mayflies, and the lament of the past, our yard used to blink with fireflies. Not really any more. There are bees, true honeybees and bumbles, loving the Hibiscus, it’s blossoming now. It’s quite upsetting, the lack of bugs outside. Birds too. 😢

The winds are right and now we’re getting the #Quebec #smoke in #SWMI. The #AQI is 191, when it customarily is somewhere between 20 and 60.

My partner has conditions where he really shouldn’t go outside with this AQI level, so I will. Gotta water the #garden and such. I don’t have any medical concerns, so I’m fine.
