I think this is partly why so many #Republicans who scream "READ THE CONSTITUTION!" have never actually read The #Constitution.
They make nonsense claims like "The #SecondAmendment is the one that protects all the rest" (as if the #FoundingFathers gave everyone the right to SHOOT THEM if they disagreed.)
It's actually the FIRST Amendment (Protest, redress of grievances & assemble) that "protects the rest".
Now they want to *abolish* any Amendment they dislike (ie: the 14th & 22nd.)
