The M48 #Severn #Bridge (or potentially both of them, I can't tell whether it is)! Taken over 20mi away in Standish Wood (near Randwick and Whiteshill, Stroud; roughly 290m altitude afaik) using a #GooglePixel 6 Pro. Edited in #AdobePhotoshop 2021.

I know the Cardiff one from Weston was far (~20km), but this definitely takes the impressive capabilities of this phone further. Sure, the image isn't high quality but I'm not bothered when it looks as beautiful as this.

💕 200m into today's icy #bikeride I saw a #fox 🦊 in the nature reserve.He was too quick to photo but may have had a pixie in his jaws given where he was.The #Ironbridge and Coalport bridge looking particularly frosty and the River #Severn high. Snow due.

Is anyone else in the west of the UK keeping a worried eye on the weather? I'm seeing a bigger than usual difference between wind speed and gust speed in the met office forecast and am not currently experiencing the forecasted gusts. Looks like it will be coming from the north during the peak too, which is unusual. Severn Bridges

Views of the new and old bridges, walking from Severn Beach to Aust along the New Passage salt marsh. The new bridge has a smaller suspension area in the middle; the old bridge is the entirely a suspension construction.

Yesterday afternoon also went for a walk @AttinghamParkNT The meanders of the #Severn flooded at Leighton and the river Tern like a major river. The ground is so waterlogged.
