An observation I've made when asking for volunteers fit improving our #lemmy instance. There's a lot of #sysadmins, a few backend developers and practically no frontend developers. For some reason it seems sysadmins tend to be the mostly common early adopters. Sadly that also means we don't find anyone to onboard the cool features I've developed, on the UI

I got limited power sockets, the fibre comes into the house next to the front door & it would be nice to stick the WiFi AP in the direct centre of the house. How difficult is it to run ethernet cabling? I am not really a home DIYer so any tips would be appreciated.
