My 8 years old #dell laptop died this week. Not bad of a lifetime, already bought a new one. I went with Dell again, #Ubuntu OS, the only downside is the delivery time, I won't get it until Sept. 16.
I bought a #usb32 #nvme thingy to copy the data from the old drive, I'm surprise how well it works, i get 300MB/a out of it.
Also I was able to make it work under #wsl on #Windows, but the performance was awful 3MB/s.
