Some notes:
* The curve gets worse as you run faster. I can really feel it in my hips, calf and ankles. (We flipped directions every 30min)
* Reflection from water in the fountain made it feel even hotter!
* Since the aid station is self-help, it took more time to drink/refuel than ordinary races.
* Navigating around slower runners becomes more taxing when running in circles.

So I ran 222 laps around the #UW water fountain with only 2 other runners as part of #Drumheller #marathon #race at 5:30am today, and Strava reported Marathon time 3:34:45 pace 8:11/mi.
A year ago I ran 3:38:57 pace 8:21/mi, so just 4min faster, but my avg HR dropped from 161 last year to just 147bpm!
The weather was also much nicer last year -- cloudy w/ 7F-lower temperature, and this year we got all sun w/o any cloud!

Ran 3 laps around the #UW #Drumheller water fountain to test phone tracking app (work in progress). Come Saturday 5:30am I’m going to run 219 laps around this sucker with the only 3 other runners in this #marathon race https://raceconditionrunning.com/drumheller-marathon-25/. 94.3% zone 1 & 2.
May #running recap: compared to April 200.4 → 245.3mi (263.8 w/ walking), EG 4,071ft → 3,609, 30 → 36hr running.
This was whopping 45.3mi above my monthly 200mi goal, boosting for my June #Marathon race. No PR was gained, but I ran #marathon #24 this month.
I'm at 1,208.7 of yearly goal 2,400mi, 215.9 ahead at end of May (I can take a month off if I want!). The next full marathon race, running 220+ laps around #UW water fountain, is due in 6 days (https://raceconditionrunning.com/drumheller-marathon-25/). Onward!
This same church, Pursuit NW, last year led a march of zionist complete with flownin recent IDF soldiers and assailants from the 2024 UCLA zionist riot. They publicly described their event as a "buzzsaw" intended to destroy UW student #Gaza camp.
At the time UW, much like the city of Seattle yesterday, gave the fash event formal blessing and scolded the students to disband to avoid conflict with imported IDF soldiers.
