SyncThing nutzen viele für die Dateiübertragung im Heimnetz.

Aber das Tool funktioniert auch von unterwegs - Ende-zu-Ende verschlüsselt über Relay-Server.

On Android, i can use a `Worker` (a `CoroutineWorker`, to be exact) and `WorkManager`. Those are cool, and they allow me to observe what is going on, but then retrofit doesn't play ball. It just initiates the upload and returns, making the worker think it is done when the upload hasn't even started.

I want each upload to start when the previous one has finished (or failed).

So I guess my question boils down to "How do I make retrofit work sync, not async?"

Habe gestern den #selfhosted #sync-Server von #Anytype aufgesetzt. Läuft in einem #Proxmox LXC.
Hat auf Anhieb geklappt und dauerte nur wenige Minuten.

Anytype hat tatsächlich das Potenzial, mein #Obsidian zu ersetzen. Der P2P-Sync ist E2E-verschlüsselt und richtig performant.
Läuft auf Fedora via Flatpak und auf meinem GrapheneOS direkt aus dem GitHub-Repo. Ziemlich coole Sache.
