🀑 Ah yes, because rewriting to run -V on is *definitely* something everyone has on their weekend to-do list. πŸ› οΈ What's next, trying to make a toaster run Crysis? πŸ’‘

Oh, look, another "genius" using a GPU farm to play hero against . πŸ™„πŸ€– Because decrypting Akira's variant is just another weekend project, right? Next time, maybe they'll use a toaster. πŸ˜‚πŸ”₯

Under the covers of my homemade MagSafe charging pads are some very ugly prototypes; didn't help that I lack the ideal router bits.
Bought two types of MagSafe pucks to try and for the ones with LEDs, considering an acrylic top as a light pipe. Linen covering was too soft
- I wanted something closer to the feel of vintage speaker grills and Aleene's Stiffen Quik helped. Low profile USBC charger only puts out 20w max and may be insufficient. #wirelesscharging #weekendprojects

Weekend project. Checking out yabridge and porting win VST to linux. So far so good for natives atm.

next: iLok, Waves stuff. If anyone has experience i'm very open for tips.

Any settings to minimize wine-caused cpu load?

I had some time tonight to start working on this silly little project. I'm taking data from my and creating a social media timeline of the bird detections from my yard. 🐦

Using to grab data once a day to build a social media feed. πŸ˜†

Next, trying to incorporate to compose posts between the species detected to include weather, time of day, and the species identified around the same time period to make "conversations" between the species.

A rough draft of a social media feed that includes various birds spotted in my backyard. It reads "Cheep! Cheep! Social, The birds are chirping.". The first bird post is a Spotted Towhee, with some metadata I have gathered from the BirdNet API.

#weekendprojects started coding my personal site with vite, did a couple of Lottie animations for it, and got both my ender 5 and Saturn printers working. The video is a highlight of where the prints are.

I consolidated networking stuff by removing two single-purpose Raspberry Pi's and moving their functionality onto two passively cooled x86 servers.

The first Raspberry Pi was running unbound and was the recursive DNS server for the home. I put unbound on the two x86 servers and now have two recursive DNS servers instead of one.

The second Raspberry Pi was a UniFi Controller. The process for moving the UniFi APs from the old controller to the new controller was rather easy -- the only thing that needed to happen after I got the software installed on the server was to restart the APs.
