I've been using #session for a couple of years now that #wickrme shutdown. In general, it it is good. It had a rough time for a while as it was Target targeted my a multi-month long #ddos attack, but those have seem to be resolved over 9 months ago.

Looks like #AWS is pivoting #Wickr to focus on the enterprise & public sector markets as it will discontinue its #WickrMe consumer service.
Considering that #AWS is mainly about #B2B & enterprise solutions, this makes sense. Plus, the consumer messaging space is completely saturated with #WhatsApp, #SignalApp, #Telegram, #Viber, #WireMessenger, #Threema & more!

Encrypt everything. Over and over, I've seen that social platforms are too greedy and quarterly profit driven to look at users as anything but the product. Algorithms are designed to manipulate engagement. Encrypted data is useless for that model though. Here it's public, but at least decentralized. Still, I see E2E encrypted messages as the best way to stop feeding greedy corps.
