Mon démailnagement va être une longue migration laborieuse et frustrante.
Un peu comme avoir un produit de 12 apps Angular, le triple de plugins, et soudain un CTO optimiste arrive et fait "et si on réécrivait tout en Ember".
(Spoiler alert : ça n'arrive jamais, ils veulent toujours tout réécrire en React.)

I've been using proton as my main email provider for a couple of years and i never realized this was a problem at all. I mean, many times i don't get a response but i thought it was because they didn't want to respond at all.

I am in the process of moving from Gmail to Proton mail. I started testing out the free version of Proton mail but soon moved to the Unlimited subscription with Drive, VPN, Pass.etc.
I am mainly switching because Proton is a European (Swiss) alternative to American big tech. It is definitely not as feature rich or mature as Google but I find it an excellent and an exciting replacement.
I've been using Gmail since it came (as Google mail in 2004) so it is quite a change, especially because I am using Google third party sign-in on a lot of websites. So far it is going well, I am enjoying this journey and I highly recommend the Proton suite 🙂

Whoa, hearing ProtonMail got blocked in India... supposedly over deepfakes? 🤔 That's pretty wild stuff.
It really drives home how fast new tech can spawn problems we just don't have easy answers for yet, doesn't it? You know, end-to-end encryption is super important, absolutely vital even, but let's be real – it's not some magic wand that fixes everything.
So, it leaves us wrestling with the big question: How do we actually protect people from misuse like this without just jumping straight to heavy-handed censorship?
