Mit diesem super geilem britischen Blech für Yorkshire Pudding gelingen mir die Pancakes perfekt rund und ohne in der Pfanne in Einzelteile zu zerfallen. Ich liebe das Ding. Der Teig ist aus Buchweizen- und Hafermehl, minimal gesüßt und mit etwas Zimt versehen. So kann ich sie süß und herzhaft nutzen. Die Pancakes nutze ich als Brotersatz, die Menge reicht für 5 reichhaltige Mahlzeiten.

#YorkshirePudding mit Ofengemüse

Der Teig ist wunderbar fluffig und außen knusprig, saugt ordentlich Sauce auf. Ich habe ihn mit im Ofen gebackenen Karotten + Zwiebeln gefüllt und kleine Bällchen aus Brot, Zwiebeln + Salbei draufgelegt. Dazu gab es Erbsen + Wirsing.

Man kann den Teig auch in kleinen Schälchen backen, aber in einer Auflaufform gemacht, ist es echt spektakulär.

#YorkshirePudding mit Ofengemüse

Da man ihn füllen kann, womit man will, kommt hier nur das Rezept für den „Pudding“

Eier Mehl Salz Milch verrühren. Den Boden einer Auflaufform mit Öl bedecken, die Form für 4 Minuten in den heißen Ofen stellen. Dann den Teig hineingießen und die Tür 20 Minuten nicht öffnen. Dann passiert das Wunder, der Teig kommt an den Seiten hoch und bildet so eine Schale, die man dann beliebig füllen + mit Beilagen und Sauce servieren kann.
