Ich bin aktuell mit Ardour unter Linux unterwegs. Bin ich auch noch am erkunden. Bitwig habe ich auch mal im Blick gehabt aber noch nicht getestet.
Bzgl. Plugins hab ich bisher welche von #lspplugins und #calfplugins probiert.
Meine VSTs von Native Instruments hab ich über wine und yabridge ans laufen gebracht. Meine Waves VSTs gehen gerade nicht mehr. Denen ihr Software Center braucht PowerShell und ein AutoUpdate hat das Kartenhaus zum einstürzen gebracht. 🥴

I've been using the Calf Plugins for years but recently was really impressed by the Calf Limiter when mastering a track recently. I was using it to basically try get that loudness that is typically expected (in my opinion) on platforms like Soundcloud etc.

Almost finished with the rudimentary mastering of a compilation that is coming out in few days (yes, terrible promotion window, I know!). The compilation has an anti-consumerism aspect to it and it features some established slovenian underground names as well as couple of completely new noisemakers. M/F ratio 7/3. A very wide range of genres, as usual.

i think these two last tracks were more easy because they needed minor corrections compositionally. i've done more focus on the mix, cuting low end, giving space. next one I expect will be much more demanding.
