Just got reminded that submitting an HTML form with checkboxes via POST only submits `checkBoxName='on'` for checkboxes that are checked and… *checks notes* **nothing at all** for checkboxes that are not.
So that’s fun.
*sigh*
To everyone creating #polls here: if the options have square #checkboxes, people can select as many as they like. If they have circles, they're "radio buttons" and people must choose one.
In the web interface you choose which type of poll you want by clicking/tapping one of the squares or circles.
i'm still #desperately missing an option to share a #pdf on #mastodon..
can't that be implemented easily? like a dynamic #whitelist of file formats or something.. a list of #checkboxes for the instance's #admin account? so every instance can decide individually whether pdfs are allowed or not?
