@peppe Well, #dwm is a window manager. Then there's #dwl, which is a #wayland #compositor, trying to do "functionally the same" as dwm. My point is, it has to implement a lot more stuff to do so.
My favorite window manager is #fvwm (or now #fvwm3), and as far as I know, its main developer was looking into wayland and currently doesn't have any concrete plans to work on that ... and I can perfectly understand. 😔
Hey Fediverse, i need to switch away from Hyprland. It is getting worse every month and the maintainer is a transphobic asshole. Also i now have glitchy pixel artifacts everywhere. So i am currently checking the alternatives. But i have some questions:
What is currently the best alternative compositor to hyprland that has the most feature parity? I wan´t a config based one and don´t want to write code to configure my compositor. My config is not that complicated.
Also i use those hyprland related packages. Do you know any alternatives?

Der Code ist zwar getrennt, aber beide Komponenten können gemeinsam installiert werden, sodass ein Wechsel von Wayland zu X11 und zurück weiterhin gewährleistet bleibt, sofern die Distributionen beide Komponenten anbieten.

How am I only just now finding out about motion blur in Blender via the compositor? 🤯
Sure, it's not as accurate/clean, but cutting render time down from 52 minutes per frame to less than 1 minute is wild.
You can't even see the difference in motion! 🙃
