I remember when you went #shopping for something with a list of features you wanted the product to have not a list of #crap you did not want it to have.

Ah, it's that time of the week where iOS apps run at 5% of the normal speed when launched from Xcode. Normally starting and loading all data takes a couple seconds, not it takes over a minute. Same with any interactions, everything is glacially slow. So it's a dance of rooting everything, restarting Xcode, applying updates and hoping for a good moon phase. I wonder why Apple never fixes these annoying bugs?

Linking C++ stuff on Windows is such a clusterfuck. Depending on how header files are included things can be defined during compilation, but if the order is even a bit wrong you have to randomly guess what libraries have to be included. Like, IID_IMMDeviceEnumerator and CLSID_MMDeviceEnumerator are somewhere, but god fucking knows where.

In Linux it's always so much easier to know what to link. Even macOS is less fubar. Such a developer hostile toy OS.
