Has anyone done a DOD #DigiTech PDS #pedal foot switch upgrade?

My dog marked my good old PDS 20/20 echo/chorus/flanger and I cleaned the switches out with deoxit stuff, but this time the switches are not coming back.

I have replacement switches from 'Bay, but I'm considering putting in proper footswitches. pins 1&2 and pins 3&4 are connected all the time, and all the pins are connected when I push the button.

A couple of replacement switches for old DOD/Digitech guitar effect pedals that I got from 'Bay or Reverb a while ago, sitting on some white plastic foam.
One is button-side-up, and one is leg-side-up, showing four legs to wire into the pedal.
They are a bit of a pain to replace, and they go bad every few years.
Grr.

Does anybody know of a forum/board/discussion-site for #loopstation or #loopers? My "Boss RC 202" doesn't work well with my footpedal "Digitech FS 3X". (Loopstation has a moment of shock before it loops, resuting in hickups instead of round loops)

I intended to use a #BOSS FB-2 Feedbacker/Booster where the Spark is, but the FB-2 is long-discontinued and sells for outrageous prices on the secondary market, considering the feedbacker side is mediocre and very much inferior to the #Digitech FreqOut.

I wish BOSS would come out with an FB-1X Feedbacker/Booster that would rival the FreqOut in sound quality, but have more robust construction. The Digitech platform uses a weak footswitch design that's prone to failure.

I always try to visit music stores whenever i visit a new place. Finally found a second hand #Digitech Polara, which has not been made for a while and can not be reproduced again due to part unobtanium! Also pulled the trigger on a #Yamaha Revstar, such an underrated guitar and a dream to play! Thanks #milwuakee !!

DigiTech is a digital products portal of South Africa that is supported by the Department of Communications and Digital Technologies. The purpose of DigiTech is to collect data about digital products developed in South Africa with an aim of supporting the products’ technology enablement and promote and expand their adoption and use. Through DigiTech, the Department of Communications and Digital Technologies seeks to promote SA developed digital products in other markets whilst facilitating partnerships with other countries on co-promotion of local technologies.

The Marketplace shows some really interesting government / citizen related apps. So it is not clear if this site will merely promote suitable apps, that are then downloaded from the actual Apple, Android, and other apps stores. The Marketplace page contains no links at all to any of the actual apps being promoted. SA Government already actually has a single central portal for citizens, called eServices. I would have thought that would also have been the place for citizens, not only to transact with gov, but to also obtain this information about mobile apps to use.

So yes, an early review by Business Insider, was not glowing about this site at all. It is possibly because it is not well explained how it fits into the existing ecosystem of services and apps by government for citizens. It also has a few grammar errors, and no secure SSL certificate. The eServices site also started out with lots of fanfare a few years ago, but no-one speaks about it really in the media any more. This new site does not even link to the eServices site.

Besides that, though, the initiative is a good one to promote local developers and apps that will assist citizens.
