Cybersecurity training often focuses on awareness — but awareness alone isn’t action. Just knowing the right thing doesn’t mean people will do it. Why? Because behavior change is hard. People default to habits, not instructions. This post dives into how habit psychology shapes digital...

@corbden
[Your spotlight on consciousness #focuses on the fissure in the ceiling.]

You can't quite reach the ceiling to examine up-close, but once your attention is focused on the fissue your mind starts to measure & classify it.

The fissure is approximately 1.618 meters along the longest axis. You can't tell if it's the low illumination, all of the time spent in this cave, or just your mind playing tricks on you.

The shape reminds you of something. A symbol, but of what?

A crudely drawn version of the fissure in the ceiling. It's kind of like a cross with some extra bits and some flair

Dear Meditating friends,
My latest podcast on how long to #meditate
... starting off with a #minute
audio.com/lobster/audio/time-t

"The #speaker discusses the amount of #time one should set aside for #meditation. They mention that even just one minute of f#ocused #breathing and #mindfulness can be #beneficial, although it is not considered true meditation. They also suggest a #five-minute meditation #practice with #different #techniques or #focuses. The speaker personally finds that 30 minutes works for them, but emphasizes that #regularity is more important than the specific amount of time. They compare starting a meditation practice to #starting a #running routine, highlighting the importance of #gradually building up the practice. Lastly, they recommend joining a #group or finding a #way to be led by more #experienced individuals when starting meditation."
