I ordered a bunch of fuchsias online about six months ago. Once I put them in I forgot which was which and anyway I only had the seller's photos to go on. Two had already flower but the third was sitting there with tightly rolled up buds, teasing me.
This morning the first bud unfurled. Just to brighten my morning, it's white and a brilliant deep purple.
The very pale pink and white ones are huge.
Pruned some #fuchsias and stuck the trimmings in water just to see what would happen, apparently they like it
What’s flowering at The Fuchsietum? Fuchsia ‘Ravenslaw’ (Donald 1986). “Hlaw” is an Old English word for a small rounded hill or a burial mound. Seems an appropriate hangout for ravens if not #fuchsias.
