Build in glass // Stir // Garnish: none

This one was one of those “use what’s laying around” cocktails. Plus, I wanted to try my new clear ice spear out. Gonna have to keep this template in mind for the summer, it was delish!

30ml dry sherry (fino or manzanilla)
30ml dry vermouth @bordiga1888
100ml @fevertreemixers Mediterranean tonic water
1 dash of olive bitter
1 dash lemon bitter

Build in a fancy highball glass full of ice and garnish with an olive and a rosemary spring.

A real good, savory and low abv one, highly recommend before lunch.

Hey I have an #apple #ios question: I’ve got an app where previously I set photo permissions to write only. I now want it to be able to read photos, but when I go to privacy settings my choices are “Add Photos Only” or “None,” with no obvious way to get read/write permission.

Anyone see this or know the fix? I’m on the latest iOS release (17.3.1) and
the app is #highball, fwiw.

Awhile back I made a strong #liqueur by soaking about 1.5 cups of frozen #raspberry pieces in a similar amount of cheap #vodka with perhaps 1/2c of granulated cane #sugar, all in a canning jar in my #liquor cabinet.

On this super-hot afternoon I poured two ounces of the lovely red raspberry liqueur into a #highball glass full of #IceCubes and chased it with an ounce or so of #cheap American #whiskey. Topped off the glass with #SparklingWater for an utterly delightful strong #summer #cocktail.

Angostura Bitter, eine wunderbare Ergänzung wenn man viel Soda trinkt. Sehr wenig Alc, viel Aroma, sehr erfrischend.
Mit Eis, ohne Eis, nach Belieben.

Did I say I have #dived the #Bouncing #Bombs in #Lock #Striven near #Dunoon twice now? These are *not* the #Dambusters #Upkeep as deployed by #Lancaster #Bombers, but spherical #Highball bombs deployed by #Mosquito. These were the #RAF tools to sink the #Tirpitz. This was my first trip with the Seahorse #Dive Club with Tom. There are only two Highballs on the surface, #Brooklands and the de Havilland Aircraft Museum. This is a true underwater #museum!

• 1 ounce #Campari
• 1 ounce sweet vermouth
• 2 ounces soda water
Garnish: Orange wedge or twist of lemon.
Pour Campari and sweet vermouth into #highball glass filled with ice and stir. Top with soda water.
