Keeping with the general Easter vibe, I chose this picture of a seagull's egg that I took in 2008 for #ThrowbackThursday. I'm not entirely sure what species it is anymore, so I'll leave that detail out this time.

A kelp gull landing on a calm lake surface. The photo was captured mid landing, and her wings are still in the air, though her body is in the water. Because the surface of the lake is so smooth, a mirror like reflection of her is visible on the surface of the water, almost making it appear as though she has four wings. The surface of the lake is otherwise green in colour from the reflections of the surround foliage.

El gavià argentat de potes grogues (Larus michahellis) és el més gran que podem veure a la Mediterrània, fins a 1,30 metres d'envergadura. Els hem vist caçar cries de ànec, de fotja, crancs, coloms... Aquest exemplar juvenil, però, va preferir endur-se volant una rata.
