I always thought the light pen port on the Tandy 1000 was for a barcode scanner like the Model 100, but it's not! It's actually for a light pen (imagine a mouse you held up to the screen to use.)
...if only more stores did this...

Not having much luck with the #C64 #lightpen I acquired. 🤔
Gave it an electrical sanity check before plugging it in and at least nothing is shorted out - but nothing appears to be working either.
We shall have to troubleshoot... 🔍
I am sure it will be a disappointing experience, but ever since I saw a light pen in a magazine as a kid I've wanted one. 🤓
