My Samsung ATNA60YV02 was causing interference with my Huion digitizer. I suspected this was due to the close proximity of the panel's PCB to the front of the digitizer. So I decided to order an ATNA60YV04, because the longer ribbon cables connecting the panel PCB should allow me to wrap the PCB behind the digitizer shielding, as I've noticed other screen tablets do.

However, it turns out the YV04 uses a different pinout to the rest of the ATNA60YV0x series and immediately shorted when I plugged it in. The seller of the display port adapter I got for the YV02 doesn't seem to know the layout. -_-

Today I discovered that tilt does not work on #Wayland #KDE with my #Wacom One Pen #DrawingTablet (while there is no problem under Xorg).

Not sure if it’s a general (Wayland/KDE) problem or something with this specific tablet. But it’s surprising how many things are broken when Wayland is getting pushed as the default.

Spent some time working with Weylus to connect my iPad to my Linux laptop to act as a drawing tablet. It works really well!

I do need better wifi though - screen updates on the tablet in Krita or Inkscape or whatever are fairly laggy - usable but laggy. I know my wifi maxes out at around 14 Mbps in that room (thick stone walls, down the hall) so work to do re: an AP if I want to do artwork in that room. It's where the TV is located so absent minded doodling is a thing...

I'll try it in my office in the other building tomorrow. It should be better with a wifi AP in the same room.

Amazingly, as a non-video drawing tablet there is no real lag though. Maybe using it a bit more will make latency more apparent.

Many colors are smeared in a digital approximation of a fan brush.
Opening image in full resolution will show you that the brush is made of text.
'goblinsoftingoblinsloft' or something similar.
