The #PacificRim state's #voters supported denying illegal #immigrants social services and #education by a 58% majority, finding widespread margins of approval in 51 out of 58 counties. This total included massive #LosAngeles County, where it won by margin of eight % points amongst Padilla's own neighbors.

Since then, voter sentiment in state seems to have changed...in state where almost half of California’s children were born to an immigrant parent, approx 72% of voters surveyed now agree presence of immigrants provide a "benefit" to the state, although only 31% of #GOP voters agree.

I think this speaks to the passive vs active use of AI. As a society we should work to ensure people use AI as a collaborative bicycle, rather than a siloed automobile.
By which I mean: critical thinking, questioning the AI's answers and using the chat-predictor as a sounding board and personal assistant (as you would a human PA), rather than as a slave to do menial tasks without thinking about it clearly ourselves
