Wegen #KI Überflutung notepad vom Rechner deinstalliert. Dummerweise kann ich deswegen nicht mehr mit dem Kontextmenü eine neue Textdatei erstellen. Leider kann ich #notepad nicht mehr installieren, weil der Firmenrechner den Store gesperrt hat.
Aber alles gut, wenn ich #copilot lieb Frage, stell er mir eine leere Textdatei zum Download bereit.

CNCERT: Risk Warning Regarding the "Black Cat" Gang's Use of Search Engines to Spread Counterfeit Notepad++ Download Remote Control Backdoors
CNCERT and Microstep Online jointly detected a cyberattack campaign launched by the "Black Cat" criminal gang. This gang uses search engine SEO (Search Engine Optimization) techniques to push meticulously crafted phishing websites to the top of search engine keyword results. After visiting these high-ranking phishing pages, users are lured by carefully designed download pages, attempting to download software installation packages bundled with malicious programs. Once installed, the program implants a backdoor Trojan without the user's knowledge, leading to the theft of sensitive data from their host computer by attackers.

I've encountered a windows 11 notepad bug:
when you open a notepad tab and type the exact sequence of numbers:
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 1011121314151617181920212223242526
notepad.exe will hang.
that is the numbers 1-9 with spaces in between, then 10-26 without spaces.
Can someone please share it's experience with BOOX go 7 epaper for taking handwritten notes with a BOOX InkSense Plus pen?
Can you share your experience with data protection, security and sync with Linux or @nextcloud as well?
It seems to be the only one <300€ that can handle it.
However, if you know a notepad for handwritten notes <=300€, please tell me as well.

I HATE what Microsoft has done to NotePad in Windows 11. I DO NOT WANT all of my .txt files all opened in NotePad simultaneously! The utility of NotePad was that it was a simple, no-bullshit text file editor. And Microsoft had to go and fuck it up.
