Foodie question: I vaguely remember reading somewhere that by adding a tiny bit of water to a nut butter as you’re blending it, you can make it a creamy solid (like commercial peanut butter) instead the oily runny “butter” just blending nuts with their oil gets you. I tried to post a gif of the #NutButter being processed, but it was hanging on upload, so I'm skipping it. I added probably 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon too much oil (which I do fairly often because I lack the patience to wait for it to incorporate), but it is fucking delicious!

Palm oil is one of the world’s most destructive crops, as it can only be harvested in tropical rainforest and peatland landscapes where the highest concentration of endangered species live. The majority of palm oil and soy is fed to farm animals that people eat. This is why palm oil is an animal rights issue.
