The skull has been turned upside down here, a view not often seen, as I was inspecting the palate.

Replica of the Japanese elasmosaurid plesiosaur Futabasaurus on display in the NHM London's touring Jurassic Oceans: Monsters of the Deep exhibition at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. The exhibition is about prehistoric sea life beyond the Jurassic. Indeed, Futabasaurus is from the Late Cretaceous.

That's not a skeleton of Plesiosaurus on the Plesiosaurus spread, though, it's clearly based on a skeleton of Rhomaleosaurus from Yorkshire (the one I did my PhD on, so there). And there's also something very odd going on with its anatomy.

This is a cast of Cryptoclidus at the palaeontological collection of the University of Tübingen.
These Jurassic marine reptiles were perfectly adapted to their environment, possessing four hydrofoil-like flippers that allowed them to efficiently ‘fly’ through the water.
Life reconstruction based on the mounted skeleton (IGPB R 324) on display at the Goldfuß-Museum in Bonn. ⚒️

I wrote a little contribution about Microcleidus macropterus, a plesiosauroid plesiosaur from the Lower Jurassic of Yorkshire (United Kingdom) The specimen is on display at the Sedgwick Museum of Earth Sciences in Cambridge. I had the pleasure to examine the fossil last year.
