so I just tried to restore a proxmox lxc container to a state from one week ago using proxmox backup server. I had a mount point that was not included in the backup which now appears empty and the disk usage on the data store went down dramatically.
Do any #proxmox wizards know how to get my mount point data back? The disk was stored on a nvme drive with zfs as the data store type, and I sadly did not do a zfs snapshot before restoring the backup...

After the #Proxmox #PVE 8 to 9 upgrade went so smoothly, I was feeling confident about the PBS 3 to 4 upgrade.
I carefully followed the official documentation and updated all the apt sources. PBS3to4 --full reported all good.
Ran the update and rebooted... and now the system is entirely offline. No pings, no ssh. It's a remote server, too, so I guess it's going to be down for a bit. I created a back up of the config, of course, but it's useless if I can't access the system.
It's just a back up server, so it's not the end of the world, but I would expect an enterprise distro to be a little more reliable. :-/

Successfully finished upgrading my cluster to #PVE9 and #Debian13 #Trixie without any noticeable downtime!
If you plan to do the same soon, I strongly suggest using the built-in pve8to9 tool, which will evaluate the system's readiness before you upgrade.
