I am working from home and to keep my hands busy while listening to a scientific article I have mended two of my underpants. Funny how they all break at the exact same spot. Anyway, feels good to prolong the lives of my clothes and extend the time between new purchases!

Tried to tackle my fear of mending zips in items by fixing the zip in my old down jacket. It was a nightmare getting the old zip out and tough work for my sewing machine getting the new zip in there but, whilst it’s not perfect its in and I’ve learnt a lot about the process.

I’d bought three zips as replacement options and couldn’t choose so ended up combining two which looks great.
