#grapheneos auf meinem #pixel7a ist am laufen. Neue Apps gelernt, #pushservice auf #sunup bedient neben #fosswarn auch den #telegram Fork #forkgram. Einige Dienste nutze ich nur noch im Browser, da die App´s nicht ohne #PlayService laufen. Aber das passt schon.
Zwei Dinge bekomme ich nicht hin. Im #fdroid fehlt mir ein funktionierender #wakeonlan Client. #AwakeOnLanMobile tut es nicht. Und #Screencast #screenmirror zum TV geht scheinbar nicht ohne #Playservice. Hat da jemand Ideen? Vorschlag?

📚️ vokoscreenNG is a libre, multi-platform and mature screen video capture tool (aka Screencast; for software demonstration for example). It allows recording (in several video formats and codecs, with adjustable stream and quality) of the whole screen, an area or a window, supports a camera (with choice of resolution and some basic effects), audio from several sound sources (in several audio formats), can be called from the systray, provides various tools (magnifying glass, countdown timer, halo around the mouse cursor to make it easier to find it on the screen and to identify the click, redefinition of the call keys), and is translated into 41 languages.

Last night I set up OBS for the first time, and it was really easy to get started.

I was able to successfully record from my webcam, microphone, iPhone and Cintiq screen simultaneously. (Haven’t tried streaming as yet.)

I may use this approach henceforth, over using CleanShot X. #screencast #obsstudio

KDE Plasma 6.6.0 now allows you to exclude windows from screen capture. Keep certain parts of your desktop private when recording.
