#section31 Watched about half of it so far, I'm not impressed with the storytelling, too much exposition all the way through, insteadof introducing elements organically. Also, everyone in the Empress Giorgiou's universe should have a goatee.

I also watched a few episodes of DS9 with a friend in celebration, and came upon this brilliant episode with angry critique towards Section 31, and some amazing romulans (❤️) I’m so happy they used to clearly state how bad and unethical of an idea a secret service is inside an open democratic society, and just straight up yell at those defending it or allowing it to exist. (Spoilers for season 7!)

Tonight, I'm watching Star Trek: Section 31. I won't do the full live toot since this is my first time watching. Instead, I'll do my thoughts with context method which is a lot less verbose.

I'm aware that S31 is not a huge fan favorite but, as ever, I'll keep the Trek Bashing to a minimum.

Okay I’ve heard some of y’all’s opinions on #Section31, both with and without actually seeing it. And I chose to watch it.

Definitely not traditional #StarTrek. And I went into it knowing full well it wasn’t.

You know what? For just a simple story based on Star Trek lore, I enjoyed it just fine. No, it wasn’t amazing, but I didn’t think it deserves some of the negativity I’ve read.

Then again, I’ve never watched ANY Star Trek I flat out hated.

I also liked Star Wars Eps. 1 & 7-9, so booyah!
