When I catch a cold, I will most likely also end up with a raging, painful sinus infection that only a 10-day course of antibiotics will kick. Even then, I might relapse & end up sick for a total of 6 weeks.
It's a BUMMER.

I have chronic sinus issues. I use of a neti pot daily. One would think that it would be easy to find a 304 or 316 stainless steel #netipot for sanitary purposes. There is only one that claims to be, sold by various distributors, but it is definitely not stainless steel. It is not ferromagnetic. I'm on a wild goose chase now to find or make one. So frustrating that we live in this #capitalist hellscape where everything must be subscription model, even damn neti pots.

Day two of using baby shampoo in my sinus rinses and my symptoms have improved heaps.
I’d heard of doing this before but didn’t try it without doctors approval until my surgeon said I could on Friday.
I’ll keep going this week and make a decision to see if I want to do this permanently. #sinusitis
ENT surgeon appt went well, I've healed well despite all my setbacks, and there's no scar tissue.
Given me a big list of medical things to try and sort out the issues I've been having: now have approval to add baby shampoo and xylitol to my sinus rinses.
He's happy with me taking mucinex to keep things running easily. And a couple of different nasal sprays to try too. #sinusitis
