My mother used to #photograph with film rolls for #slides. And the fun thing about slides is, that colours are kept relatively well. Recently I found this photo (that I scanned) of the Kaiser Franz Josef Höhe and the Gross Glockner. It's from the late 1960s. I recognised that building. I've been there on my #cycling trip last year.

I'm in the market for a slide scanner. I have a few hundred slides from the 70's and 80's that I would like to scan, along with a lot of film negatives from the same time frame.
My flatbed scanner will do prints ok, but not film or slides. I need to replace the PrimeFilm PF 1800 that I have had for ages. It is very unsupported and what is available barely works.
I don't want anything cloud based, all local. Any suggestions?
