This is how “lose” the modern reporters are. This isn’t a story. It’s not even an actual trade deal. They should formally protest through not reporting anything when this happens, in my opinion. There is no prior status quo because there were no tariffs or rare earth mineral restrictions a year ago! They really got that part wrong. All this “deal” amounts to is the Administration holding up on levying tariffs and #China holding up on their rare Earth mineral export restrictions so that the Midwesterner Republican farmers who donate heavily to Trump’s coffers and campaigns can pump their giant supply of the entire American #soybean market into China's marketplace:
