#Stourhead is a #NationalTrust property in #Wiltshire
It's particularly known for its grounds - designed by Henry Hoare II and laid out between 1741 and 1780 in a classical 18th-century design set around a large lake, achieved by damming a small stream.

Instagrammable before its time. This is probably the most famous view captured on a rainy overcast day in August.

Spring has sprung at Stourhead Gardens. The snowdrops from last month have gone, and have now been replaced by daffodils.
