Some weeks ago, I replaced the existing #thethingsnetwork #TTIG and 4G modem with a #TTIGPRO for a beekeeper. The #TTIGPRO has built-in 4G and is designed for indoor use, but it runs great! Well done, @therhingsindustries.

Slammed my head several times against a wall but I think I got it running. This is a rather old #LoRa Gateway running on a #Raspberry Pi 2 Model B Rev 1.1. Heck I had to download the system twice because this is 32bit and I went for 64 first thanks to muscle memory o0
Still no idea what I'm doing but it started chirping and is marked as UP in the GW overview of #TheThingsNetwork. Will start to play with the sensors I got on another day 🥱

Thanks to an #opensouce event last WE, I've been to workshop yesterday and managed to sold my own meteo station powered by #arduino.
It only measures the temperature and humidity (for a start), but it transmits those metrics with its current GPS location on #lorawan.
It has joined the 26 others #citizenscience driven meteo stations monitoring the city of #tilburg: https://meetjestad.net/index3.php?loc=Tb

This weekend I finally got around to releasing v5.0.0 of the Arduino LMIC (https://github.com/mcci-catena/arduino-lmic). This is an independent very lightweight implementation of the basic LoRaWAN protocol, originally done by IBM Zurich, then curated for many years by Matthijs Kooijman. 1/
