I'm trying to make a wake light that slowly starts lighting up an led strip in my bedroom before my regular wake up times.

I'd also like to show a daily calendar on an E-Ink display, although I forgot the #arduino doesn't have WiFi. Maybe I'll need a #raspberry instead for that. I have an old pi zero w lying around unused for a few years.

Я собрал пять интересных, на мой взгляд, DIY-проектов. Забегая наперед, скажу, что здесь старый магнитофон становится музыкальным центром, карманный мини-ПК работает на паре Pico, а кибердек в стиле 80-х соседствует с лабораторией для обучения и радиостанцией в корпусе размером с ладонь. Каждый гаджет — не просто игрушка, а реальный инструмент для учебы, экспериментов и работы. Погнали!

Dear #homelab bubble,

as is normal I have a dozen different SBCs (Raspi1, Raspi2, Raspi4,...) as well as some other thin clients running in my home lab. As none of them is connected to a monitor, each of them has some kind of serial-to-USB cable attached (to a serial output or to the Raspi GPIO pins).

Of course, I am lazy, and moving the laptop I am working on and attaching the right cable is too much effort. So I thought about finding another solution. Not sure if there is one and if I can afford it. So I would be glad if there is any input or ideas or hints or experiences or recommendations. Thanks in advance!
