I'm excited about terrain generation mainly because there's not nearly enough fantastic world types out there!

Here's an early experiment with a hollow-earth topology. I'm looking forward to fill this with fantastical atmospherics to see how it would look.

I first started using the web in 1998, back when Flash was all the rage.

Since becoming a professional developer in 2008, it's often felt like the industry never quite recaptured the sense of magic Flash enabled. I've been dabbling with Three.js since 2012 and wanted to bring some of that early web energy back in my own site.

Really worthwhile reading from @castano! If you're building with WebGPU, spark.js gives you new choices for texture compression that weren't possible with WebGL.
