Mein Tinnitus wird stärker, irgendwas passiert gleich

My tinitus is quite loud, enough to be noticeable even with normal daytime noises about.

I have made an appointment to see the GP, after next week, hopefully she can rule out anything other than tinitus.

I think I have tinitus.

At night I can hear, in my right ear, two tones that alternate. a bit like someone trying to play a tune on a flute with only two notes. It warbles away all night, louder when I have my ear down on the pillow.

It started a couple of weeks ago, and I first thought it was some kind of alarm tone from a nearby industrial plant. However, I am pretty sure it is not, unless the same warbling tones are played near MiL's house too!

Checking on the online tone generator I think the tones are about 912hz and 1120hz.

Been sick all week, so just getting around to releasing this minor update to my #xpomodmenu #X11 #pomodoro utility (a wrapper around @seninha 's #pomod):

It updates the `xpomodbell` script to add optional arguments for setting verbosity, Pomodoro work & break session durations, and the audible bell notification playback volume. This was primarily because I kept cranking my music and nearly blowing out my eardrums when a new cycle began. I already had #tinitus, thanks!

#Teenager sind ein Traum. Ich wäre nicht überrascht, wenn gleich wegen einer ursprünglichen Nichtigkeit ein #Streifenwagen vor unserem Haus hält.

Ich habe vom Geschrei meiner Tochter einen #Tinitus und sämtliche vor dem Haus versammelten Nachbarn schauten hoch zum Dachfenster.

Dabei hat meine Frau nur höflich gefragt, wann sie denn nun gedenkt, die schimmelnden Nudeln endlich mal in den Müll zu werfen, da wir nicht ihre Butler sind.
