Reviving old Android TV Box with Amlogic s905x (P212) with #Linux Kernel 6.1 on Armbian 25 Trixie. With minimal Gnome install this >5 watts fanless machine is screaming inside 😂

Just searching package with flatpak, opening Gnome-software, browse the frontpage of with Gnome-web is basically make it freezes, due to limited memory (794.5MiB) I guess~.
But I find it actually still good for media player, in fact this box can output 4K.
Last time I use with Linux kernel 5.9, X11, XFCE & Armbian 20 (~4 years ago), I could open simple git project on Codium or light browsing with Firefox (with reasonably lag).

Nonetheless, reusing/upcycling this box could be alternative for SBCs if you don't really need GPIO and find the spec suits your tiny server / #homelab requirements.
