I made this about a year ago, but I finished it quite a bit later sometime in autumn. It was bisqued but I couldn’t decide if I wanted to add anything besides the engraving, I figured it would be too flat. Finally it got a little blue wash 🌊

Drawing and carving fur is something I enjoy, and used to put more focus on when I was still in artschool, in an attempt to explore other parts of the animal instead of just depicting the animal as is. I’m sure this is something I’m going to emphasize more in the future. It could be cool to have an assemblage of wall objects, some depicting animals, others more like parts of them or objects / environments associated with them

Aah I just finished this while it was getting too dry for my liking. So much dust, not good!

Thanks to some new sharp tools I managed to keep carving, while my dentist tools were too blunt.
I ended up stabbing myself in the finger with the pointy knife thingie, fortunately there was my bone to block it 🙏🫣🤣
